e.l.f. offers a wide range of products for $1 and while some are standout products, their liquid eyeliner falls a little short of my expectations.

While this eyeliner appears pigmented when first swatched, the color fades away almost entirely within an hour of wear. The formula is liquidy, but too liquidy to the point where when I drag the brush across my lash line it will separate into two lines. Not a good look!
For anyone who wants to practice with liquid eyeliner, I would say that this is an excellent choice. It's good to practice getting a solid, even line and getting a flick in the right spot, and this eyeliner is the perfect inexpensive opportunity to do this. However, if you're serious about wearing this eyeliner out everyday, I would say to go buy a different one.

I definitely wouldn't recommend this to the serious beauty guru! It's great in terms of value, but it just doesn't perform that way I'd want my eyeliner to!

Thanks for the review! The only liquid liner I use is L'Oreal's Lineur Intense with the felt tip. I tend to mess up my cat eye look, so the felt tip helps me control the what I want to do.
ReplyDeleteI really want to try that one! I think I definitely prefer felt tip to brush tips when it comes to liquid liner xoxo
DeleteE.L.F is always hit or miss. I think for newbies, felt tips work better. I don't think I'll get this one, but good to know your experience.
