5 Tips to Get Healthy After the Holidays!

So, I many have had a few too many cookies...and sodas...and big dinners during the holidays and now it's time to get back on track! Here's five easy tips to get healthy after the holidays!

{1. Get moving!}
Start taking a 15 minute walk every day or do some beginners yoga to get the blood pumping & the calories burning!

{2. So you have leftover cookies...moderation is key!}
We all have lots of lovely cookies and Christmas gifts leftover, and that's great, but eat them in moderation! Eat only a little at a time so you don't overload with sugar!

{3. Replace those sodas & juices with water & green tea!}
Up your intake of water-if it's cold, it's harder to digest and you can actually burn calories simply by drinking! Water will also help to clear up you skin. And, green tea has a lot of antioxidants that can help keep you healthy.

{4. Pay extra attention to your skin-do a face mask!}
All those sugars and fats from Christmas dinner are building up so be sure to spend extra attention on your skin! Do a couple of face masks and remember to exfoliate to try to keep your skin from breaking out.

{5. Motivate yourself!}
If you're having trouble remembering to exercise or eat healthy, give yourself weekly rewards to work towards! Set a goal to buy that new movie or take yourself out for a healthy lunch if you remember to meet all your healthy goals that week!
