e.l.f. Studio Cream Blush
0.53 oz.-$6-Made in China-Permanent
Can you believe that I snagged these at my local Dollar Tree for just a buck each? Trust me when I say I was excited! I do believe these were the only two shades my Dollar Tree carried, and in addition, they also had the studio eyebrow kits-so make a run to your nearest store!
These blushes come in the cutest packaging! It is a little bulky and will definitely take up a lot of room, but it's such a nice product to use! I love the clear glass jar and matte black lid on top-so classy! It also has a stopper to keep the blush nice and fresh!
So the two shades I have are Flirt and Heartbreaker-aptly named-and are actually very similar. Flirt is more pink and Heartbreaker is more coral.
These have the consistency of soft playdough which is so freaking cool! I would compare it to the texture Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blushes. So far, I've tried to apply these with my finger and with a foundation brush (I definitely need to pick up a stippling brush!) and while the foundation brush applies more color, my finger definitely blended it in better.
These are the most pigmented blushes, the swatches above are done pretty heavy. Once it's blended out, a lot of the color disappears. So because of that, I've noticed that the blush fades in about 2-3 hours. So this formula definitely either needs to be reapplied or used as a base for a powder blush.
The Pros:
Good, light formula, nice color selection, good amount of product, nice packaging
The Cons:
Formulated with parabens, packaging may be bulky for some, not pigmented, prone to fading
The Bottom Line
7/10
I personally like this because I don't like super pigmented blush on my cheeks because I have a fair complexion, but, most people shop for a pigmented blush that doesn't take longer than average too apply!
I personally like it & would recommend it, I only wish it had a bit more pigmentation!
What do you think? Have you tried these blushes?

These look really neat! I like the idea these companies have of making the blush have more of a play doh type consistency. :)
ReplyDeleteSo do I! Only I have to stop myself from playing with it :D xoxo
DeleteThose colors are adorable! I can't wait to start trying E.L.F. products. I keep hearing they have good quality for the cost.
ReplyDeleteI definitely recommend elf! Their products are soooooo good-especially the Studio ones! I love the range of products and colors-definitely one of my favs! xoxo
DeleteThanks for the review! I've been curious about these, but because of the wear time, I probably won't go for them... I love the studio blushes, though! (I just wish they'd make more matte colors.)
ReplyDeleteI agree! I feel like a lot of elf products is a shimmer exposure! I would definitely love to see more matte things from them xoxo
DeleteWow love the colors you got, so pretty!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks! They work really well, especially on my fair skin(: xoxo
DeleteGreat review, K. I got Heartbreaker recently and have yet to use it. Reading your review makes me want to give it a try. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Definitely try it! It's one of my staples now in my collection(: xoxo
Deletei think Heartbreaker is really pretty. thanks for the review - i only own one cream blush but i also find that one fading a lot quicker than i'd like.
ReplyDeleteI think that cream blushes just have a tendency to fade quicker than powder for some reason. Heartbreaker is definitely gorgeous & one of my new favorites! xoxo
