Some polishes on the market aren't that easy to work with-they look gorgeous in the bottle, but on the nails, they're sheer and lackluster. So here's my favorite way to really amp up polishes like that!
The colors I used are Gray's Anatomy by Wet n Wild and Let Me Go by Sinful Colors, which are two very similar polishes that have a purple/green/blue/silver vibe going on.
So what I did was I chose a base color that was similar to the colors used in the polishes, but not the purple, blue, or green pigments because that would have canceled out the other shades.
I chose Silvivor by Wet n Wild, which is an opaque silver shimmering base. I then layered Let Me Go overtop of Gray's Anatomy to really play up all three polishes & I love how it came out!
What do you think? Do you try to work with sheer polishes like these or do you pass them up?
