Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm in 25, Pink Punch

I love the other Baby Lips in Cherry Me and after seeing Tanya from Pixi2woo rave about Pink Punch in a couple of her recent videos, I decided to give it a shot! I don't normally wear brighter colors, but I figured that since it was on sale & I had a coupon, why not?
It comes in the same cute packaging that the rest of the lip balms come in, and smells like punch too. It's not overly strong, but the scent is definitely there!
This lip balm claims that it will give you 8 hours of moisture, and let's be honest, that doesn't happen. This formula is very glossy and slick and rubs off quickly so you will need to reapply.
The left pic is bare lips and the right pic is with Pink Punch. As you can see, it's not terrribly pigmented. But, it did manage to give a slight tint to my lips.
I will say that the formula is a little patchy. It will cling to any imperfections in your lips, so this may not be the best balm for chapped winter lips. It's definitely more of a summer product in my opinion.
Also, it's not formulated with parabens!

A little patchy & the smell may not appeal to everyone

It's a good product, but not a fantastic one. If you have lips that aren't pigmented naturally you'll probably like the color payoff a lot more than if you have naturally very pigmented lips.

You're welcome! They're definitely not moisturizing enough for me either, I prefer to use my Burt's Bees lip balm as my main one. But, I really like the soft color and smell of the Maybelline ones! xoxo

DeleteI never understand why they pretend they are going to last 8 hours. It's usually like 20 minutes! I have one just not in that color and I like it just fine, but not enough to re-purchase :S
