Golden Sunrise by CoverGirl is a beautiful color-all copper and summertime. But, if you have pale skin like me, it can be difficult to use because it's so orange. So, I created this soft, beautiful look that is perfect for daytime using just five products!
-Golden Sunrise by CoverGirl all over the lid and on the lower lashline, keeping the inner corner free
-French Vanilla by CoverGirl as a brow bone highlight and inner corner highlight
-Shimmering Onyx by Covergirl on the outer V, to add depth and definition
-Great Lash Big by Maybelline mascara
-Eye Pencil in Black/Brown by NYX as a liner on the last two thirds on the upper lash line
It's really important to use a matte highlight shade and liner with this look because Golden Sunrise is so shimmery and "in your face" that the flat matte colors add a really good balance to the look. Shimmering Onyx is actually a black color with blue shimmers, but when I blended it out against Golden Sunrise, it turned forrest green-who knew?
How do you use very orange/gold shades on your lids?

wow, this looks absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteand i stay as far away as possible from anything copper toned. i have very olive/yellow skin, and it just looks bad. even eyeshadows. aghhh.

Thank you! I have neutral undertones to my skin on my face, but the rest of my body is very yellow toned so I get to experiment a little on my eyes (: xoxo
Deletehow absolutely GORGEOUS. you have a talent for eye makeup application, I doubt I could replicate this.
